We're looking for a Senior Zoho Developer to help us accelerate the development, customization, and optimization of our internal business systems.
This isn't a traditional Zoho Administrator role. We're looking for someone who can understand a business challenge, architect a solution, and independently bring it to life.
You'll play a key role in building scalable systems, automating complex workflows, and improving how our teams operate across Finance, Accounting, Talent Management, and Operations.
We're also looking for someone who embraces AI-assisted development, using modern tools to accelerate delivery, solve complex problems, and build smarter solutions without compromising quality or security.
Design, develop, and optimize advanced solutions across the Zoho ecosystem, including Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Flow, and Deluge scripting.
Independently architect and deliver complex technical solutions, from understanding business requirements through development, testing, and deployment.
Build and maintain integrations between Zoho and external platforms using APIs, webhooks, and other integration technologies.
Develop automations and workflows that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Troubleshoot existing applications, identify root causes, and implement reliable, long-term solutions.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent technologies to accelerate development and improve productivity.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate operational challenges into practical, scalable technical solutions.
Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, well-documented, and built to support long-term business growth.
What We're Looking For
6+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Zoho development.
Advanced expertise across the Zoho ecosystem, particularly Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Deluge scripting, and workflow automation.
Proven experience independently architecting, developing, and delivering complex Zoho solutions in a production environment.
Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, system integrations, and technical troubleshooting.
Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent technologies in real development workflows.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including solution architecture, code quality, security, testing, and maintainability.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and take ownership of projects from beginning to end.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
A proactive, resourceful mindset and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
While these experience benchmarks reflect the seniority we're targeting, demonstrated ability to independently architect and deliver sophisticated Zoho solutions matters more to us than years of experience alone.
Experience with Python and/or JavaScript.
Experience integrating Zoho with NetSuite, ERP systems, or other enterprise applications.
Experience developing AI agents, AI-powered workflows, or advanced business automations.
Experience building technical solutions for cross-functional business operations.
As an independent contractor collaborating with Dulcedo, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful technical initiatives within a growing North American organization.
Here's what you can expect:
Fully remote collaboration: Work from your location while maintaining some overlap with Montreal business hours.
Autonomy and ownership: Take responsibility for sophisticated technical challenges and see your solutions make a real impact.
AI-forward development: Work in an environment that embraces modern AI development tools and encourages smarter, more efficient ways of building.
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Talent Management, and Operations.
Meaningful technical challenges: Help build and optimize the systems supporting a growing multidisciplinary talent management company.
Engagement type: Independent contractor.
Workload: Full-time scope of work, with ongoing technical responsibilities rather than isolated freelance projects.
Location: Fully remote, open to international candidates.
Working hours: Some overlap with Montreal business hours (Eastern Time) is required.
Duration: Proposed initial three-month engagement, with potential for extension based on performance, business needs, and mutual fit. Final terms are subject to confirmation.
If you're a technically strong, resourceful developer who enjoys solving complex challenges, taking ownership, and using AI to build smarter solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
We're especially interested in learning about the complex Zoho solutions you've personally designed and delivered and how you've incorporated AI-assisted development into your work.
Apply now and help us build the next generation of Dulcedo's internal systems!
