GEA Food & Healthcare Technologies Service Team is looking for a Service Engineer to support commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service activities for food processing and packaging equipment.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Key Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of GEA equipment.
Preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
FAT, SAT, and start-up support.
Customer training and technical support.
Service reporting and documentation.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of field service, commissioning, or industrial maintenance experience.
- Good knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, and industrial automation systems.
- Good command of English (minimum B1 level, B2 preferred).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience with B&R, Siemens, or Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Experience in food processing, poultry, packaging, or industrial automation industries.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
