Service Engineer - UHT & Dairy Processing Systems at gea | Swiftcruit
We are looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to support installation, preventive maintenance, and overhaul activities for UHT and dairy processing systems. This role works closely with customers to ensure equipment reliability, performance, and long-term service value.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Key Responsibilities
Plan and executeoverhaul activities for UHT systems
Performcrack testing and maintenance for Spray Dryer plants
Conductpreventive maintenance for GEA equipment (e.g., Avapac, mixing plants)
Troubleshoot and resolvemechanical, electrical, and automation issues
Supportinstallation, servicing, and repair of dairy processing equipment
Engage with customers tointroduce and promote service offerings
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
Your Profile / Qualifications
Technical Requirements
Strong experience inmaintenance and servicing of industrial processing equipment
Hands-on knowledge of:
UHT systems
Spray Dryer plants
Mixing plants for dairy / beverage processing
Solid understanding of:
Mechanical systems
Electrical components
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Familiarity withdairy processing (liquid and powder) operations
Ability to diagnose issues and performstructured troubleshooting
Qualifications
Diploma inMechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Control & Automation Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant service or maintenance experience in industrial environments
Good command oftechnical English
Valid driving license and willingness totravel frequently
Nice to Have
Experience withGEA equipment or similar OEM systems
Exposure toregional or on-site customer support roles
Understanding offood processing industry standards and safety practices
