- Lead, coach and develop the service sales team, setting clear priorities and objectives and fostering collaboration, accountability and customer focus.
- Translate commercial objectives into action plans, coordinate workloads and support team members in developing customer opportunities and achieving sales goals.

- Build strong, sustainable relationships with key customer stakeholders and serve as a trusted commercial partner.
- Identify customer needs and translate them into appropriate service solutions and commercial proposals.
- Proactively identify opportunities for maintenance, repairs, upgrades, spare parts and other lifecycle services.

- Develop account and sales plans and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline.
- Work closely with service operations, technical specialists and other internal stakeholders to ensure commercially attractive and executable customer solutions.
- Follow market developments, customer activity and competitive dynamics and convert these insights into sales opportunities.
- Support negotiations on commercial terms and contribute to profitable business growth.

Ideally, you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in engineering, maritime technology, business, commercial management or a related field.
- Relevant experience in B2B sales, service sales, account management or technical sales, with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering profitable revenue growth.
- Experience leading and developing a sales team, with demonstrated success in translating commercial priorities into measurable team results through coaching, effective delegation and clear accountability.
- Experience in a technical, industrial or maritime environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven success in winning new customers and growing existing accounts, with concrete examples of converting commercial opportunities into orders and long-term customer relationships.
- A track record of preparing compelling, value-based proposals and negotiating and closing commercial agreements that protect margins and deliver customer value.
- Evidence of building and converting a qualified sales pipeline, supported by measurable achievements such as higher order intake, improved win rates or increased customer share of wallet.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- A proactive, structured and results-oriented way of working.
- Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel to customers as required.
Experience with turbocharging, marine propulsion, engines or comparable rotating/industrial equipment would be an advantage, but equally important is your ability to understand customers’ businesses and turn their operational requirements into commercial opportunities.
