About the role:
- BG BE Test Engineer is a position that acts as BG Test Engineer located in the Back End site.
- Majority of the tasks and responsibilities of the BG BE Test Engineer are aligned and connected with Business Group MOS Discretes.
- The BG BE Test Engineer will be the primary engineering resource in the Back End site for Business Group related Final Test tasks.
What you will do:
- Will ensure that required BG MOS Final Test capability and best practices are deployed and maintained in all our BE locations
- Drives and recommends RTP for new products and / or test equipment.
- Will help identify requirements for Safe Launch to ensure smooth volume ramp-up.
- Supports New Product Intro/ New package development, recommends test setup equipment, sockets, contacts to support device testing.
- Implements new and advanced measurements test methods or equipment on to the line in the BE.
- Enhances testing to protect Final Test Yield.
- Increases BE line capacity and where necessary performs advanced product measurements to support customer inquiries or complaints.
- Reports directly to BG MOS Industrial Test and Product Engineering manager.
This is you:
- Degree in Engineering (ECE, EE, ME) or relevant discipline.
- Experience working in a semiconductor company under Final Test or related support group (Test Equipment, Test Process or Test Engineering).
- Background in power semiconductor devices, ideally on Power MOSFET and Bipolar testing.
- Background in setting up/ qualification Tester/ Test handler/ Test contacts/ New Test Equipment.
- Background in supporting R&D/NPI, new packages and devices, which may include creation/ revision of test jobs to enhance testing and protecting Final Test Yield.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring stakeholders are fully informed.
- Familiar with data analysis tools/ statistical tools (Exensio, Spotfire, Power BI, JMP, Statistica, etc)
- Familiar with CAD software (AutoCAD etc.) would be an advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Willing to travel.
