We have an opportunity for a SOC Lead.
This role is responsible for providing technical leadership, decision-making, and ownership of Angle Finance’s security infrastructure.
It focuses on driving security initiatives, enhancing technical controls, and mentoring team members while ensuring the organization’s security posture aligns with industry best practices and business objectives.
Your role:
Manage the Security Operations team.
Provide technical leadership to the security team, mentoring other engineers.
Manage, maintain, and uplift the Angle Finance Information Security Management System and provide technical assurance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).
Design and deliver comprehensive security awareness programs to improve the organization's security culture.
What you bring:
Minimum 3 years’ applied experience in the Security industry and or a similar role.
Applied experience in cyber security practices and security operations.
Demonstrated experience working with:
o Microsoft security technology (essential)
o Networking infrastructure (firewalls)
o Email security platforms
o Endpoint protection technology (essential)
o Identity and access management (essential)
Experience in assisting the organisation in developing key mitigation strategies and adapting to the changing threat landscape.
Basic familiarity with industry compliance and security standards such as PCI DSS, ACSC ISM/Essential 8, ISO 27001, NIST.
Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security or relevant degree (highly desirable).
Experience working in the financial services industry (highly desirable).
Good communication and a team player.
