We’re looking for a **Social Media & Content Intern** to help grow Juno’s presence on TikTok, Instagram, and other social channels through authentic, engaging content about health and chronic illness. You’ll brainstorm ideas, film and edit short-form videos, help manage our social channels, and engage with our community. We’re looking for someone who understands that living with a health condition affects more than symptoms: it can shape someone’s energy, relationships, work, confidence, and everyday decisions. This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with a startup team, build your creative portfolio, and create content that helps people feel informed, supported, and understood. ### Responsibilities * Develop content ideas, hooks, and scripts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social channels * Film and edit short-form videos, including relatable stories, health explainers, and Juno product demos * Create content around the realities of chronic illness, from fatigue and symptom fluctuations to appointments and everyday routines * Research health topics, latest research studies, and check information before turning it into content * Help plan, schedule, and publish posts across Juno’s social channels * Engage thoughtfully with comments and community conversations * Listen to our audience and turn their questions and experiences into content ideas * Stay on top of social trends and adapt relevant formats to Juno’s voice * Track content performance and use what you learn to improve future posts * Work closely with the team to keep content accurate, respectful, and consistent ### What We’re Looking For * An understanding of chronic illness and health conditions, whether through lived experience, supporting someone, study, work, or involvement in health communities * Awareness that symptoms and experiences vary, and that many conditions are invisible, unpredictable, or misunderstood * Empathy and good judgment when discussing sensitive health topics * Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex topics clear and relatable * Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and short-form video * Comfort appearing on camera and filming content * Strong video-editing skills using CapCut or similar tools * Creativity, initiative, organization, and openness to feedback ### What You’ll Gain * Hands-on experience in social media, content creation, and startup marketing * The opportunity to build a portfolio across video, writing, and community engagement * Direct collaboration with the Juno team and feedback on your work * Room to test creative ideas and learn from their performance * Experience communicating about health in a thoughtful, accessible way ### How to Apply Send your résumé, a short introduction explaining why you’d like to join Juno, and examples of content you’ve created. Personal projects, content you have created on social media, and your own social accounts are ideal. Please also share one content idea for Juno and tell us how you’ve developed your understanding of chronic illness or health communities. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
