Job Description Summary
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Delivery Manager / Technical Lead to join our global Services team for WAMS and be our main expert in North America.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong IT capability with customer-facing confidence. Please note that this role is not a Project Manager or Engineering Manager position. Those responsibilities sit elsewhere in the organisation.
Instead, this is a technical delivery role focused on leading the deployment of enterprise software in customer environments. You will coordinate delivery activity, collaborate closely with internal teams and external customers, and take ownership of technical issues that arise during implementation.
The role combines coordination with hands-on technical work. You should be comfortable planning and driving technical activity, managing customer expectations, and getting into the detail when needed to plan, design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot software and its delivery.
Most of the wider team is based in Europe and Africa, so once established in the role, you will need to be comfortable working with a good degree of autonomy and making sound decisions independently when required.
This role would suit someone from a background such as IT networking, infrastructure, technical support, systems administration, or software deployment who enjoys solving problems and collaborating directly with customers.
This role is fully remote in the United States.
