Welcome to the future of cloud networking and security!
Cato Networks is the first company to converge enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service that is delivered by cloud. It is led by networking and security pioneer Shlomo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva) and early investor (Palo Alto Networks, Exabeam, Trusteer and more). Cato’s unique technology inspired a brand-new product category, later named “SASE” by Gartner and a market expected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028.
This is your opportunity to get on the rocket ship and join a company that is building a cutting-edge enterprise network and secure cloud platform, and is on a fast track to becoming the worldwide market leader – don’t miss it!
We’re looking for a seasoned Software Engineer, with a strong background in infrastructure, with focus on Development Tools, to join the Cato team. In this role, you will be a part of an infrastructure team focusing on the overall Developer Experience, with the goal of reducing friction and increasing the entire R&D organization efficiency and enable faster, more reliable and engaging development process. The Developer Experience infrastructure team exists to make Cato a better place to develop software. The team is responsible for the tools and platforms that support hundreds of engineers across Cato's R&D organization on a daily basis, with a clear mandate: reduce friction and improve the day-to-day experience of every developer at Cato. This is deep infrastructure engineering with organization-wide impact, spanning ephemeral environment provisioning, source control and IDE tooling, build performance and distributed caching, CI/CD and release engineering, test infrastructure reliability, internal developer platforms, dependency management, developer onboarding, and observability into the development process itself. Improvements delivered by this team have a multiplicative effect across the entire engineering organization, as gains in efficiency and reliability are realized at scale, directly shaping how every developer at Cato builds, tests, and ships software.
