Apten communicates **exactly like a human** — dynamically switching between channels, personalizing every follow-up, and proactively using tools (CRMs, schedulers, lead systems) in-conversation.

We’re now scaling rapidly and looking for our second **full stack software engineer** to join us. You’ll work directly with the founding team to build core product experiences and infrastructure — from high-throughput message pipelines to voice bots, workflow builders, context management systems, AI-driven orchestration, and self-improvement systems.
This is an opportunity to own critical systems and shape the product and culture from the ground up.

### What You’ll Do
* **Own and ship core features** across the stack — from React frontends to AWS-based APIs, Lambdas, and microservices
* **Work directly with enterprises** to build AI agents, and the data flywheels needed to give them proper context
* **Build scalable infra** for messaging, AI inference, and automation at high volume

### What We’re Looking For
* **Curiosity and drive to figure things out** — whether debugging a scaling issue or building something completely new
* Experience building and shipping production software (or equivalent skill) - personal projects are OK
* Experience with **TypeScript**, **React**, and **AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, CDK, etc.)**
* Strong product sense — able to make pragmatic tradeoffs, prioritize for impact, and ship fast
* Comfortable working across the stack (frontend → backend → infra)
* Previous startup or early-stage experience a plus
