Portfolio Solutions Engineer — US Commercial, Texas Metroplex
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth. Candidates must reside in the DFW area.
Dallas–Fort Worth is one of the fastest-growing business markets in the country, and the companies building it are making their biggest technology bets right now: AI-ready data centers, security that keeps pace, and networks that just work. Cisco is the critical infrastructure company of the AI era, and our Texas Metroplex Commercial team is in the room helping those customers build what's next.
Two things define how we work: ability and agility. Ability means we know our craft, and customers can tell within five minutes. Agility means we learn fast, adapt faster, and never let a changing market catch us flat-footed. We win together, share what we learn, and take real pride in being the people our customers call first.
We're not looking to fill a seat. We're looking for a seasoned engineer who lights up at a whiteboard, a hard customer problem, or a technology they haven't mastered yet.
As a Portfolio Solutions Engineer, you'll co-own a territory of Dallas-area commercial customers with your Account Executive, representing the full Cisco portfolio: AI-ready data centers, Networking, Security, Observability, and Collaboration. You'll work with a wide range of customers across industries, so no two days look alike. This role rewards engineers who build trust quickly, prioritize well, and move at the speed of a growing market.
At Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era – and beyond. We’ve been innovating fearlessly for 40 years to create solutions that power how humans and technology work together across the physical and digital worlds. These solutions provide customers with unparalleled security, visibility, and insights across the entire digital footprint.
Fueled by the depth and breadth of our technology, we experiment and create meaningful solutions. Add to that our worldwide network of doers and experts, and you’ll see that the opportunities to grow and build are limitless. We work as a team, collaborating with empathy to make really big things happen on a global scale. Because our solutions are everywhere, our impact is everywhere.
We are Cisco, and our power starts with you.
