Roles and Responsibilities
Develop new manufacturing and repair process technology to assist component teams in implementing repair strategies or fulfilling factory NPI requirements.
This role will focus more on developing automation and robotics process.
Create a validation plan for repair materials/process technology in conjunction with New Repair Introduction engineers.
Ensure the successful transfer of development processes and validate repair service centers' qualifications and certifications for their repair procedures.
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments.
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Provide continuous improvement support and seek opportunities to enhance processes across the repair network.
Utilize lean-manufacturing values for daily work and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs, and increase capacity
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Welding, Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering degree.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Basic experience with CAD software.
Basic experience with computing.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Understanding of lean methodology.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of 10% of the time, as required.
