Job Description:
This job is responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of large program deliverables which requires engagement across multiple organizations. Key responsibilities include communicating target outcomes, coordinating delivery, resource planning, providing visibility of program health, and managing program risks, compliance and financials. Job expectations include ensuring delivery meets the client’s expectations in terms of the target outcomes, timeline, and cost and facilitating sync points between business and technology leaders and Risk and Compliance partners.
This is a high‑impact delivery lead role at the center of Corporate Security Technology who will own and shape how a large, business‑critical application portfolio is operated, governed, and funded—while helping evolve the maturity of the organization itself.
You will oversee application management, financial stewardship, and essential operations for a portfolio of 30+ applications and a $20M+ annual budget. This is a role for a leader who thrives in complexity, enjoys building clarity where it does not yet exist, and wants the freedom to define “what good looks like” and make it real.
Success in this role creates outsized visibility, influence, and opportunity to scale impact across the broader technology organization.
Responsibilities:
Leads and coordinates routines to support delivery of large programs, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates
Broadens relationships with business and technology leaders across multiple organizations, as well as Compliance and Risk
Establishes target outcomes in partnership with stakeholders and leaders
Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule
Collaborates with sponsors and stakeholders to ensure that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements
Manages program financials and supports resource planning
Ensures adherence with Enterprise Change Management standards
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience leading application management or application operations in a complex technology environment.
Demonstrated success leading, influencing, and developing teams, including matrixed or indirect leadership models.
Strong financial management background, with hands‑on experience managing budgets, forecasts, vendors, and contracts.
Ability to define, track, and communicate meaningful technology and operational metrics.
Strong facilitation skills — able to drive alignment, influence decisions, and move stakeholders to action.
A track record of improving operational processes and raising organizational maturity.
Working knowledge of IT service management frameworks and operational governance.
What You’ll Do
Application Management Leadership
You will serve as the hands‑on leader for application management across the portfolio.
Act as a strong, visible delivery lead, actively guiding execution—not just setting direction.
Drive consistent adoption and understanding of enterprise and bank processes, including risk, controls, and lifecycle management.
Collaborate across several application managers in a matrixed environment, setting clear expectations, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
Create a culture that emphasizes ownership, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Own and evolve application management metrics, using data to increase transparency, predictability, and performance.
Identify and drive opportunities to modernize and mature application management practices through simplification, automation, and new ways of working.
Lead the back‑office operational work that keeps the organization running—reporting, controls, documentation, audits, and governance.
Ensure strong operational rigor and readiness across regulatory, risk, and governance activities.
Financial & Portfolio Management
You will act as the financial and portfolio owner for Corporate Security Technology applications.
Own the end‑to‑end financial management of the portfolio, including budgets, funding, forecasts, contracts, and vendors.
Drive strong financial discipline through forecasting accuracy, variance management, and proactive funding decisions.
Partner with business and technology leaders to ensure investments align to priorities and deliver measurable value.
Establish repeatable financial and portfolio management processes that enable smarter, faster decisions.
Manage contracts and vendor relationships to optimize cost, performance, and risk.
