This is a customer-facing technical role responsible for driving design wins and supporting strategic customers across the South-Central U.S.
You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to power engineering teams, providing expertise throughout the pre- and post-sales lifecycle.
The role combines hands-on engineering, customer engagement, solution development, and business growth.
You will help customers apply advanced power products, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and identify opportunities for new designs.
You will also translate customer needs and market trends into actionable feedback that helps shape future products and positioning.
Working closely with sales and product teams, you will influence strategic opportunities and contribute directly to revenue growth.

Accountabilities:
- Drive design wins and revenue growth: Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities by positioning power products and solutions with strategic customers.
- Provide technical customer support: Act as the primary pre- and post-sales technical resource for key accounts, providing hands-on engineering support and helping customers successfully implement solutions.
- Build customer relationships: Establish strong, trusted relationships with customer power engineering teams and operate as an extension of their development organization.
- Deliver on-site engineering support: Regularly visit key customers to understand technical challenges, support product evaluations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer expectations are met.
- Apply power electronics expertise: Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of power products and relevant system-level solutions, with particular emphasis on point-of-load DC-DC power conversion.
- Support design and debugging: Review schematics and layouts, conduct laboratory measurements, troubleshoot system issues, and develop practical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Serve as a technical subject-matter expert: Present power products, technologies, and solutions to customer engineering teams and other stakeholders.
- Capture customer requirements: Identify current and emerging technical needs, understand customer priorities, and communicate insights to internal product and sales organizations.
- Influence product strategy: Provide regular customer feedback to product teams and contribute to the definition and positioning of future products.
- Monitor the market: Gather intelligence on market changes, competitive activity, customer trends, and emerging technologies to support product and business strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with local sales teams and product lines to align technical activities with commercial priorities and customer opportunities.
- Maintain an opportunity-focused mindset: Proactively identify value-added activities, establish clear paths to winning opportunities, and monitor progress toward design and revenue goals.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a BSEE or MSEE preferred.
- Professional experience: 5+ years of experience in power management and analog systems engineering.
- Power electronics expertise: Hands-on experience with point-of-load DC-DC power conversion and a strong understanding of power management technologies.
- Engineering skills: Strong capabilities in schematic and PCB layout review, laboratory measurements, system debugging, and technical problem-solving.
- Customer-facing experience: Demonstrated ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with engineering customers and become a trusted technical partner.
- Commercial awareness: Strong understanding of how technical engagement supports design wins, revenue growth, and customer retention.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaboration: Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively with sales, product, and engineering teams in a cross-functional environment.
- Personal approach: Outgoing, proactive, agile, results-oriented, and motivated by achieving measurable business outcomes.
