https://www.elfbeauty.com/work-with-us Role Overview:
This isn’t your traditional education role. As we build and scale e.l.f. Hair and e.l.f. POP, we’re reimagining how consumers discover, experience, and shop beauty in an increasingly connected world.
We’re looking for a forward-thinking, hands-on education leader who lives at the intersection of product, content, and commerce. You know how to turn category expertise into scroll-stopping, AI-discoverable content and engaging LIVE shopping experiences, creating education that entertains, builds community, and drives conversion.
This is an opportunity to redefine what education can do for a brand, challenge the status quo, and bring it to life the e.l.f. way: with bold ideas, a kind heart, and plenty of energy
What You'll Do:
- Build a global education engine: Develop and execute education strategies, tools, and training programs across hair, fragrance, and body care. Partner with global markets and retail partners to localize programs, unlock event opportunities, and drive product knowledge and sell-through.
- Make product expertise our superpower: Become a go-to haircare expert, translating product science into clear, compelling education that builds community trust and confidence. Partner with Brand, Product Innovation, and Integrated Marketing and Communication (IMC) to bring product expertise to life through PDP videos, tutorials, consumer Q&As, Reddit AMAs, and other educational content.
- Be the face of our brands: Represent our brands at creator, influencer, press, consumer, and retail events. Partner with IMC on earned media opportunities, interviews, and editorial features, serving as a trusted voice that builds product credibility and brings our brand personality and values to life.
- Connect education to AI-powered discovery: Apply SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to strengthen our visibility across search and AI-powered discovery. Partner with global markets and translation agencies to develop and localize long-form educational content for local audiences and search behaviors.
- Turn education into content that converts: Translate product benefits, innovations, and brand campaigns into engaging, platform-native educational content across social, CRM, and experiential touchpoints, driving discovery, engagement, and purchase.
- Elevate retail education: Develop training materials and launch programs that equip retail associates, field teams, TikTok affiliates, and LIVE hosts with the knowledge and confidence to recommend our products.
- Level up the LIVE game: Partner with Social and Live Commerce teams and agencies to deliver engaging livestream shopping experiences. Get in front of the camera to bring products to life through tutorials, demonstrations, and compelling storytelling that makes discovery shoppable.
- Keep disrupting: Stay ahead of shifts in social commerce, creator culture, and emerging technologies. Test new formats, learn quickly, and turn consumer, creator, and platform insights into new ways to educate, engage, and drive growth.
Who You Are:
• First and foremost, you’re a bold disruptor with a kind heart, just like everyone at e.l.f.
• 6-8 years of experience across beauty education, product training, content, and social commerce with a proven ability to translate category expertise into business impact — driving discovery, engagement, conversion, and retail sell-through.
• You bring deep haircare category knowledge and can confidently speak to ingredients, formulations, efficacy, usage, and routines. You’re ready to hit the ground running and elevate how our teams and consumers understand haircare. Fragrance and body care knowledge is a plus.
• You’re a natural on camera, comfortable hosting or supporting LIVE shopping experiences, and know how to make product education entertaining, authentic, and accessible.
• You’re an exceptional written and verbal communicator and a true content storyteller who can make complex product information clear, engaging, and credible across audiences and formats.
• You’re curious about AEO, GEO, and AI-powered discovery, and excited to explore how emerging technologies are changing the way consumers find, discover, and learn about products.
• You build strong cross-functional relationships and know how to bring Brand, Product Innovation, IMC, Sales, Connected Commerce, and external partners together around shared goals.
• You’re equally comfortable setting a strategic vision and rolling up your sleeves to execute. You move at e.l.f. speed, embrace ambiguity, and know when to test, learn, and pivot.
• You’re humble, hungry, entrepreneurial, and energized by the opportunity to build and scale something new.
The base salary range for this role is listed above.
Total compensation includes base salary, annual company-based performance bonus, and equity. Under e.l.f.’s annual bonus program, employees are eligible to earn up to 200% of their target bonus when company performance exceeds defined goals.
