• Develop and maintain a well-reasoned, clearly communicated product roadmap aligned with company priorities

Execution & Delivery

• Lead cross-functional squads through discovery, definition, and delivery of complex product initiatives
• Write clear, thorough product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that set engineering and QA up for success
• Drive Engineering team alignment and ensure your team is focused, unblocked, and moving toward meaningful outcomes
• Own the squad’s delivery cadence, stay close to the work, track commitments, and actively remove blockers before they compound.
• Work fluently in Blackthorn’s AI-first development environment, using AI tooling to accelerate discovery, documentation, and delivery.
• Use product analytics and qualitative research to validate decisions and continuously improve shipped product

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

• Act as the primary product voice for your domain in conversations with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Customer Success
• Lead customer discovery interviews and synthesize insights into actionable product direction
• Communicate confidently with senior leadership on roadmap, tradeoffs, and progress
• Represent Blackthorn's product perspective with external partners and customers as needed

Team & Culture

• Champion AI tooling and experimentation to improve both internal workflows and customer-facing experiences

• Deep knowledge of Higher Education, Healthcare, or Nonprofit verticals
• Experience mentoring or leading other PMs
• Experience with mobile applications or event check-in technology
