- Partner with engineering on technical design, trade-offs, and delivery, taking part in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and architecture discussions.
- Work with clients, compliance teams, and client-facing groups to gather requirements, run feedback sessions, and support onboarding and adoption.
- Define how data flows across the investment lifecycle (trading, post-trade, operations, accounting, and reporting) and make sure regulatory outputs are accurate, complete, and auditable.
- Shape the client-facing tooling experience, including data delivery, integrations, APIs, file formats, and reporting interfaces.
- Define success metrics and track adoption, data quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Data, Compliance, Client Services, Sales, and Operations to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Prepare product documentation, release communications, and client-facing materials.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong technical product perspective.
- Background in regulatory reporting within financial services or fintech.
- Working knowledge of the investment lifecycle, including trading, operational functions, and the reporting that flows from them.
- Track record of working day to day with engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Experience working directly with external clients, including gathering requirements and managing expectations.
- Understanding of development architecture, workflows, and external client tooling (data feeds, APIs, integrations, reporting platforms).
- Ability to break down ambituous, complex requirements into clear, actionable product plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
