Strong backend engineering expertise and the ability to navigate distributed systems, APIs, data flows, and external integrations.
Demonstrated ability to investigate complex technical problems, identify root causes, and independently implement reliable production-ready solutions.
Experience taking ambiguous engineering challenges from initial investigation through implementation, deployment, and measurable performance evaluation.
Strong understanding of how engineering decisions influence customer experience, product performance, revenue, and broader commercial outcomes.
Ability to work across multiple services and technical domains, identifying dependencies and opportunities for system-wide improvements.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a practical approach to prioritization and delivering measurable results.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
