It’s all about culture at Five Below, making this a place that can inspire you as much as you inspire us with big ideas, super energy, passion, and the ability to make the workplace a WOWplace!

Role Purpose
Are you ready to lead from the floor, energize a team, and deliver results? Our Store Managers do it all. They’re the driving force behind an awesome store experience — balancing operations, team development, and customer wow moments. If you’re passionate about leading with purpose and building a high-performing team, this role is your stage.

What You’ll Be Rockin’ Every Day
Lead with presence — be the face, the voice, and the pace of the store.
Grow a powerhouse team through coaching, feedback, and celebration.
Keep operations humming — freight flowing, zones looking sharp, and priorities clear.
Manage labor like a boss — flex your team to match the business and stay on budget.
Drive sales on the floor — model selling behaviors, guide your team, and make sure every Boss leaves happy.
Create a culture people want to be part of — positive, fun, and high-performing.
Pivot when needed — fast changes, no problem. You’ve got this.
Show up with integrity and own the outcomes. Always.

What Makes You Shine
Talent Development: You’re people-first and always teaching. You build others up while getting things done.
Sales Floor Presence & Execution: You lead from the floor — clear, calm, and in control (but never micromanaging).
Strategic Agility: You stay cool under pressure and pivot like a pro when the day throws curveballs.
Culture & Leadership Style: You bring the energy — positive vibes, high expectations, and a lot of team spirit.
Integrity & Accountability: You mean what you say and follow through. Your team trusts you — and you trust them.

What You Bring to the Team
5–10+ years of leadership experience where you’ve led teams and delivered results.
Experience managing a store or large department — retail preferred but not required.
You’ve grown from the inside — promotion from assistant or co-manager roles is a big plus.
Comfort leading in fast-paced, high-volume, or high-complexity store environments.

How Success is Measured

How You Work Best
You’re out front — leading from the floor, not behind a desk. You thrive on movement, energy, and action. Your coaching moments happen in real time. Your decisions drive the day. And your impact? Visible from the front door to the back room.
You’ll spend structured time planning for success through:
•Development check-ins
•Coaching convos
