Totalis is building the derivative layer for prediction markets. We have a chain agnostic infrastructure for prediction markets. We are pioneering the financial products that become possible when derivatives can be built on top of them.
The infrastructure challenge is fundamental: reconcile collateral, vault balances, and on-chain positions exactly while keeping hundreds to thousands of markets live and responsive. This is systems work where correctness, low latency, and recovery under failure all matter at once.
**The team**
Eric previously worked at Coinbase & Faire. Pravesh has built crypto infra across Eigen Labs, Squid Router, and other teams working on swaps, routing, and onchain systems.
You will work directly with the founders on the systems that define the company.
**The work**
You will own critical parts of market state, pricing, collateral, and settlement. You will decide how state is owned, how we recover when systems disagree, and how off-chain ledger state stays in lockstep with on-chain positions.
**Your first 90 days**
First 30 days: learn the ledger, pricing, and settlement flows; map the important invariants and failure modes; then ship a meaningful improvement to reconciliation or observability.
By 60 days: own a core workflow in pricing, state management, or settlement and make it more reliable under real concurrent load.
By 90 days: help set the architecture for scaling live markets, including the tradeoffs between latency, durability, and recovery.
**What we are looking for**
You have at least 1+ years of experience building production backend or infrastructure systems. You reason clearly about distributed state, concurrency, idempotency, and partial failure. You have worked in Go, Rust, or another systems-oriented language and are comfortable with databases, queues, caches, and service boundaries.
Event-driven systems, durable workflows, Postgres, Redis, blockchain, and smart contracts are all useful experience, but exact stack overlap matters less than sound systems judgment.
**Our stack**
TypeScript, Go, Postgres, Redis, and Rust smart contracts.
If you want difficult systems work with direct ownership and a chance to shape a new category of financial infrastructure, we should talk.
