Contract & Commercial Reviews: Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Sales Operations, and Procurement to review non-standard revenue, vendor, and licensing contracts to identify accounting implications and ensure policy compliance.
Audit Management & Coordination: Lead technical accounting discussions and coordination for quarterly reviews and annual audits, managing deliverables and relationships with internal and external auditors.
Month-End & Financial Operations: Prepare and review monthly/quarterly reconciliation schedules, journal entries, and variance analyses for technical accounting areas (e.g., stock-based compensation, leases, capitalized software, debt/equity, and segment reporting).
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a trusted technical advisor across Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Workplace Services, and Engineering teams.
Process Improvement & AI Automation: Champion continuous process improvement, leveraging automation tools and AI-driven workflows to streamline reporting cycles and enhance operational efficiency.
SOX Compliance & Internal Controls: Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting (SOX 404) for technical accounting and external reporting processes.
We are an AI-first company. This means you approach your work with a growth mindset and find ways to leverage AI to help make faster, smarter decisions that will 10X your impact at Box.
