Job Description
Essential Functions:
- Understand Customer needs and contractual details; lead the team to deliver successful ST CM&U (Steam Turbine Conversion, Modification and Upgrade) requisition work in the OTR (Order to Remittance) phase.
- Drive team Priorities, KPIs and Bowler items with accountability.
- Act as a main contact and representative to interfacing teams including commercial operations, sales, sourcing, manufacturing, project management, application engineering, design engineering, Customers, etc.
- Assign and manage CM&U requisition work.
- Provide technical guidance, training, coaching, review and approval of work to engineers performing OTR engineering work.
- Be a focal point for Technical Readiness Reviews and commercial release meetings.
- Personally carry a partial load of requisition engineering work.
- Participate in and lead Lean, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives; help drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Culture, standard work, process improvements.
- Support the team manager with various other strategic and tactical leadership activities, including partnering closely with other TLs.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of Steam CM&U engineering experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Expertise in ST CM&U Application Engineering.
- Expertise in ST CM&U design.
- Deep understanding of the Services Commercial Risk process (R-Process) with focus on engineering process steps.

- Experience with legacy Alstom and legacy GE ST technology and configurations.
- Familiarity with GE ST Engineering, Accessories, Controls and BOP teams, as well as their practices and tools.
- Familiarity with ST manufacturing and servicing practices.
- Proven ability to work well with global colleagues in a matrixed team environment.
- Willingness to embrace change and develop process improvements.
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (<10%), sometimes on short notice.
