Reviewing and evaluating product designs, manufacturing processes, and quality control procedures for compliance with regulations and standards
Interpreting and providing guidance on domestic and international regulatory codes and standards
Conducting product testing and risk assessments to verify compliance
Documenting and reporting findings of compliance audits and inspections
Implementing and monitoring corrective actions to address non-compliance issues
Collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to ensure regulatory compliance throughout product development and production
Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines
Communicating with regulatory bodies to address queries and submit documentation
Preparation of certification plans for country admissions
Determination of certification requirements
Core Job Requirements
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science,
Experience: 3 to 5+ years of experience
Technical Skills
Technical File Management: capability to author complex technical briefs, safety construction files, and test reports required by conformity assessment bodies.
Vendor & Lab Management: Experience managing technical communications with third-party laboratories to schedule, troubleshoot, and achieve product listings.
