## **About FIRST Delivery**
FIRST Delivery is the delivery command center for restaurants. Our platform enables restaurants to manage deliveries using their own drivers, third-party providers such as DoorDash and Uber, or a combination of both, all from one easy-to-use app.
We started by operating our own restaurant-delivery fleet. That experience gave us a firsthand understanding of how difficult and expensive delivery can be for restaurants. We used what we learned to build technology that helps restaurants reduce delivery costs, extend their delivery radius, and deliver more orders while maintaining control of the customer experience.
Today, FIRST is trusted by more than 10,000 restaurants and has powered millions of deliveries. We are profitable, expanding internationally, and entering our next stage of growth.
## **The Opportunity**
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, field-oriented Territory Account Executive to further establish FIRST’s presence throughout New York City and other select markets.
Your territory will be your business. You will identify high-volume restaurants, meet owners and operators in person, understand how they currently manage delivery, and demonstrate how FIRST can improve their operations and economics.
This is not a traditional desk-based sales position. You will spend significant time visiting restaurants, building relationships within the NYC restaurant community, and turning local market knowledge into new revenue.
You will work directly with the VP of Sales + CEO. You will have considerable ownership over how FIRST approaches, sells, and expands throughout New York.
## **What You’ll Do**
### **Deepen our presence in the NYC market**
* Develop and execute a territory plan for acquiring high-volume restaurants throughout New York City.
* Identify restaurant groups, independent operators, pizzerias, caterers, and other delivery-heavy businesses that fit FIRST’s ideal customer profile.
* Spend significant time in the field meeting restaurant owners and operators.
* Build a strong referral network within the local restaurant and hospitality community.
* Represent FIRST at restaurant-industry events, trade shows, association meetings, and local networking opportunities.
### **Own the complete sales process**
* Prospect through in-person outreach, phone calls, email, referrals, and local partnerships.
* Conduct discovery conversations to understand each restaurant’s delivery volume, costs, provider mix, service issues, and operational goals.
* Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to each restaurant’s operation.
* Build a clear business case showing how FIRST can reduce delivery costs, increase order volume, or improve the delivery experience.
* Manage opportunities from initial conversation through contract, launch, and early account adoption.
* Maintain an accurate and disciplined sales pipeline.
### **Launch and grow restaurant relationships**
* Work closely with onboarding and support teams to ensure new restaurants launch successfully.
* Develop lasting relationships with restaurant owners, operators, and managers.
* Identify opportunities to expand FIRST across additional locations or delivery programs.
* Monitor early account performance and proactively address barriers to adoption.
* Serve as a trusted delivery-operations advisor, not simply a software salesperson.
### **Help shape our go-to-market strategy**
* Share consistent feedback about restaurant needs, competitive products, pricing, and local market conditions.
* Help refine FIRST’s messaging, sales process, and territory strategy.
* Identify local partnerships and channel opportunities that can accelerate growth.
## **Who You Are**
* You have experience in field sales, restaurant technology, hospitality, payments, logistics, or another relationship-driven industry.
* You are comfortable walking into a restaurant, introducing yourself, and earning an owner’s attention.
* You are consultative and curious. You first seek to understand how a business operates and then recommend the right solution.
* You are highly organized and consistently follow through on commitments.
* You have the optimism and grit to build a territory from the ground up.
* You are comfortable working independently without needing a detailed playbook.
* You learn software quickly and can explain technology in practical, accessible language.
* You care about the customer’s success after the contract is signed.
* You understand that restaurant operators are busy and know how to communicate clearly and efficiently.
## **What Success Looks Like**
During your first year, you will:
* Build a qualified pipeline of high-volume NYC restaurants.
* Establish FIRST as a recognized delivery-technology partner within the local restaurant community.
* Consistently convert restaurant relationships into live, revenue-generating locations.
* Develop multi-location expansion opportunities within restaurant groups.
* Create a repeatable territory playbook that FIRST can use in other major cities.
* Become a trusted partner to some of New York’s strongest restaurant operators.
## **Why Join FIRST?**
* You’ll learn, make money, and have fun.
* Own one of the company’s most important territories.
* Work on a small team, collaborating with the founders on a daily basis.
* Sell a product built by people who have actually operated restaurant delivery.
* Join a profitable company entering a significant new stage of growth.
* Help define the sales playbook rather than inheriting one.
* Develop deep expertise at the intersection of restaurants, logistics, and software.
* Create a visible, measurable impact on company revenue and expansion.
