The Opportunity:
The Testing Assistant supports the daily operations of the KNACS-SAS Testing Site by preparing,
administering, and monitoring College of Nursing exams and assessments, including exams for students with approved accommodations. This onsite role requires exceptional reliability, punctuality,
professionalism, confidentiality, and flexibility to work variable weekday shifts based on the testing
schedule.
UCF is seeking to fill multiple roles. Candidates for this job posting will be considered for additional vacancies in this department.
Responsibilities:
Prepare testing rooms, technology, materials, and stations before exams; report 30 minutes before assigned exam start times.
Verify student identification, rosters, exam information, and approved accommodations.
Administer and continuously monitor exams according to KNACS, faculty, SAS, and test security procedures.
Maintain confidentiality, secure testing materials, and accurate attendance/testing records.
Enforce testing rules and promptly report incidents, irregularities, and technical issues.
Assist with minor technology troubleshooting, room reset, inventory, and other testing-site operations.
Review schedules, communicate availability, and honor confirmed shifts.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of an associate degree or current student with at least 60 semester hours of college credit.
Prior experience in test administration, proctoring environments, working with accessibility/disability services, or K-12 teacher experience.
Proficiency with basic technology tools used in academic environments (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated exceptional punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule based on testing needs.
