We’re looking for curious, purpose‑driven graduates who are excited by how cyber security protects people, brands and operations and, who want to keep learning every day. You don’t need to be an expert yet and we welcome all degrees, you do need a real interest in cyber security, a growth mindset, and the confidence to ask good questions. If you enjoy challenging the status quo, spotting patterns in data, communicating clearly, and are comfortable with ambiguity, you’ll thrive here. Integrity matters to us: you’ll show good judgement, take ownership, and be comfortable balancing pace with care when the stakes are high.
What will the programme involve?
You’ll complete six rotations, each lasting six months, allowing you to gain both depth and breadth of experience.

You will build an understanding of the emerging and evolving Cyber threats Unilever faces, the tactics, and techniques our adversaries use, and the capabilities and mitigations that can be deployed to detect, respond, and recover from Cyber events. You will learn how to engage with business stakeholders to ensure appropriate mitigations are deployed across the business and understand how you can build awareness with employees to educate them on how to avoid being exploited. You will also develop an understanding of how Cyber Risk is assessed and governed, and how to operate assurance processes to check that industry-standard Cyber Security controls are in place and are adopted.
What could your day-to-day role include (depending on your role)?
Throughout the programme, you will gain experience across our diverse technology organisation, designed to equip you with the necessary skills and expertise to become one of Unilever’s many senior technology leaders. Recruitment Fraud
Cyber-criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scans for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and acts to close them down.
What can I do?
If you become aware of potential recruitment fraud, spot fake Unilever recruitment adverts or fake LinkedIn profiles, report them via Una Live Chat.
Unilever does not accept responsibility or liability for any candidates who are financially impacted by recruitment fraud. Your vigilance is key!
Unilever is an organisation committed to diversity and inclusion to drive our business results and create a better future every day for our diverse employees, global consumers, partners, and communities. We believe a diverse workforce allows us to match our growth ambitions and drive inclusion across the business. At Unilever we are interested in every individual and the talent they can bring. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment.
