As a Veterinary Software Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering successful implementations of IDEXX’s ezyVet Practice Management software to veterinary clinics across the APAC region. Based in our Auckland office, you will combine your passion for teaching, technology, and problem-solving to support customers as they adopt and maximise the value of our software.
The Veterinary Software division is part of IDEXX’s broader mission to enhance animal health through innovative cloud-based solutions. Our platforms help veterinary practices manage workflows, improve communication, and deliver better care. You will be part of a team dedicated to ensuring customers are set up for success from day one.
You deliver engaging virtual and in-person training sessions to veterinary professionals, tailored to their roles and workflows
You support the implementation of ezyVet software, guiding customers through onboarding and go-live
You configure software solutions to align with each clinic’s unique needs and workflows
You project manage implementations alongside Implementation Specialists to ensure smooth delivery
You build strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor throughout their journey
You identify challenges and problem-solve to ensure successful adoption of the software
You lead change management conversations to support clinics transitioning to new systems
You develop and deliver webinar-based training content and learning materials
You manage multiple implementations and projects at various stages simultaneously
You collaborate with internal teams to share insights, improve processes, and influence product enhancements
This role is critical in helping veterinary practices successfully adopt technology that improves efficiency and patient care. By delivering high-quality training and support, you will empower veterinary teams to confidently use ezyVet, helping them save time, reduce stress, and provide better outcomes for animals and their owners. Your work directly contributes to customer success and long-term platform adoption.
Experience delivering training, coaching, or facilitating learning (software or workflow-focused preferred)
Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects
Confidence in presenting and explaining complex concepts to a range of audiences
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
High attention to detail and ability to tailor solutions to customer needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Nice to have:
Experience in project management or software implementation
Experience working with Practice Management Systems or similar software
Background in the veterinary or animal health industry
Experience with change management practices
Willingness and ability to travel across the APAC region (up to 2–3 weeks per month once fully onboarded)
Hybrid working model based in Auckland (3 days in office, 2 from home when not travelling)
