VetEvolve Veterinary Student Externship

VetEvolve Partner Practices Welcome Veterinary Externs!

A key element of becoming a veterinarian is the opportunity for students to be mentored by experienced industry professionals. VetEvolve’s focus on growing and developing our human resources extends not only to our partner practices, but beyond them to young aspiring veterinary professionals.

As the most concentrated middle-market consolidator in the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern U.S., we manage an extensive network of partner veterinary practices that allows for a variety of placement options for students. Our full family of practices allows you to be placed in an area that interests you, with options to shadow both medical and administrative roles. Our people focus means we’re invested in your growth and finding a mentor and position that suits your unique needs.

We aim to create a positive team environment in all of our practices with a foundation of strong shared values. If you’re a passionate student who is a fast learner and excels at working with others, you’ll fit right in at any of our partner practices.

If you are interested in exploring externships, browse our locations at https://vetevolve.com/our-practices/ and either apply directly via the application form attached to this listing or contact Ashley Anderson at anderson@vetevolve.com .

• Industry leading Veterinarian and support staff retention rates - Hear why our Veterinarians are "Happy Here" on our videos page.
• We invest in our team members’ professional growth and mental wellbeing, and many of our team members hold Compassion Fatigue Professional certifications.
• We live by our core values: Serve, Evolve, and Trust.
• “They allow me the freedom to practice as I see fit…We can make almost all of our main decisions ourselves, at the clinic level. Their up front focus on honesty and improving over time keeps surprising me each time they demonstrate it. Veterinary medicine is not always the prettiest, easiest, happiest, or most satisfying line of work as we all know, but I can't imagine doing it for any other group. VetEvolve has been able to retain a small feel over time, as it grows, which is huge for me.” - VetEvolve network DVM.
