ROLE OVERVIEW
Pivot Energy is seeking a dynamic, experienced leader to join our team as Vice President (VP) of Market Strategy & Policy. This role is responsible for setting the policy strategy, market strategy, and accompanying goals for the markets in which Pivot participates, and then leading those outcomes. Key areas of management include market analysis, generating go-to-market plans, policy strategy and influencing, and executive sponsorship of select high-value opportunities.
The VP will deliver these outcomes by building, leading, and developing a high-performing team of market strategy, policy, and market development professionals: setting priorities, allocating resources, and holding the team accountable to clear goals. The role also requires the ability to lead executive-level discussions. This is a people-leadership position: the VP will spend the majority of their time setting direction for, coaching, and developing the teams. The role requires a kind, attentive focus to guide team members and work collaboratively across teams.
