Mexico City, Mexico · Field / Sales Engineering · Full-time
Overview.ai is bringing cutting-edge AI computer vision to manufacturing, solving inspection problems that were previously impossible with traditional machine vision.
We're a full-stack company: we deploy GPU-powered cameras on production lines, run inference at the edge, and operate a platform supporting thousands of devices across the world.
We're growing fast, and our technology is already being used by some of the world's most advanced manufacturers. Our customers love the product because it works: high accuracy, fast deployment, and an operator-friendly experience that makes real factory rollouts possible, not just pilots.
We're expanding our presence in Mexico City, and we're looking for Vision Sales Engineers who bring together two things: strong technical instincts and a creative business mind.
This isn't a traditional sales role, and it isn't purely an engineering position either. You'll be the bridge between advanced AI technology and real manufacturing challenges, identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and turning technical conversations into business.
You'll own the customer journey from technical discovery through commercial close, working directly with manufacturing teams, engineering stakeholders, and decision-makers.
We're looking for someone who can walk into a factory, understand how things work, spot opportunities others might miss, and figure out how to turn those opportunities into successful deployments.
You'll have real autonomy, the support of Overview's engineering team, and the opportunity to help shape how we grow in these markets.
Be a technical expert and a business builder. You'll work hands-on with AI vision technology while developing new commercial opportunities and customer relationships.
Help shape our growth in Mexico. Bring your own ideas, identify new accounts, explore partnerships, and help us find creative ways to expand our reach.
Solve real manufacturing problems. Your work translates into measurable improvements in quality, efficiency, and production performance.
Own the outcome. From the first discovery conversation to closing the deal and supporting deployment, you'll have visibility and ownership throughout the process.
Work with cutting-edge technology. Develop expertise in AI-powered machine vision through real industrial applications, not just presentations and demos.
Make your ideas count. We're building and improving as we grow. Your technical insights and commercial creativity can directly influence how we approach customers and develop our market.
Technical discovery & solution design: Lead customer conversations, understand manufacturing challenges, identify inspection opportunities, and translate them into practical technical solutions.
Business development & territory growth: Identify new commercial opportunities, develop relationships with manufacturing accounts, and propose creative strategies to expand Overview's presence in your territory.
Full-cycle technical sales: Own opportunities from discovery through commercial close, including technical evaluations, product demonstrations, proposals, and negotiations.
Hands-on customer engagement: Visit manufacturing facilities, demonstrate our technology, support proof-of-concept evaluations, and work alongside customers and integration partners during deployments.
Strategic partnerships: Build relationships with integrators and industry partners who can help us reach new customers and accelerate adoption.
Customer ownership: Become a trusted technical and commercial advisor to manufacturing teams and key decision-makers.
Product feedback: Bring customer insights and real-world technical challenges back to our engineering and product teams.
Based in Mexico City, or willing to relocate to the territory.
Experience in industrial automation, manufacturing technology, machine vision, robotics, or a related technical field.
Background in a customer-facing technical or commercial role, such as Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, Technical Sales, Automation Engineer, or similar.
Strong technical curiosity and the ability to understand manufacturing processes, troubleshoot problems, and translate customer needs into solutions.
Commercial instincts: you can identify business opportunities, build relationships, and move conversations toward a decision.
Comfortable engaging with both engineers on the factory floor and business decision-makers.
Professional working proficiency in Spanish and English.
Willingness to travel frequently (60–80%) to customer manufacturing sites.
A builder mindset. You don't wait for someone to hand you a playbook. You enjoy figuring out what works, testing ideas, and creating opportunities.
Technical depth with commercial creativity. You understand the technology, but you're equally interested in how it creates business value.
Ownership mentality. You take responsibility for outcomes, not just activities.
Resourcefulness. When a customer says something can't be done, your instinct is to investigate, experiment, and find a way forward.
Experience developing new markets or accounts. You've built customer relationships, opened doors, or created opportunities from scratch.
Experience with machine vision, PLCs, robotics, or industrial automation.
An entrepreneurial approach. You're energized by growth, ambiguity, and the opportunity to help build something.
Real technology, real impact: We're deploying AI-powered vision systems on production lines, solving problems manufacturers face every day.
Growth and opportunity: Join a company expanding across markets, with opportunities to take on greater responsibility as we scale.
Technical and commercial ownership: Develop expertise in advanced AI technology while directly influencing revenue and market expansion.
Work with exceptional teams: Collaborate with engineers, operators, and commercial teams across AI, embedded systems, and manufacturing.
Global exposure: Work with sophisticated manufacturers and industrial operations across different markets.
A voice in what comes next: Your ideas, customer insights, and field experience will help shape our commercial strategy and product evolution.
We're not looking for someone who only knows how to sell technology, or someone who only knows how to engineer it. We're looking for someone who can connect both worlds, think creatively, and build business around solving real problems.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
