Job Description: Software QA & Documentation Intern

Focus: WEDA ACC Container Quality Assurance, Azure DevOps & GitHub

1. Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Software QA & Documentation Intern to ensure the release quality, container stability, and documentation integrity of the WEDA ACC platform. Operating across GitHub and Azure DevOps, you will validate container builds, perform integration testing, capture failure signatures, and conduct systematic reviews of deployment documentation and release notes.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Container & Pipeline Quality Assurance:

• Image Validation: Pull, run, and validate container images built through Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.

• Container Testing: Execute regression, functional, and sanity testing on Docker environments for WEDA ACC modules.

• Defect Tracking: Reproduce bugs, extract runtime logs, and log structured tickets with reproducible steps in Azure Boards and GitHub Issues.

• Config Verification: Validate container network configurations, exposed ports, volume bindings, and environment variables.

B. Technical Documentation & Review Process:

• PR & Spec Review: Review Pull Request (PR) documentation and Markdown guides in GitHub repositories against actual system behavior.

• Release Readiness: Audit release notes, deployment guides, and changelogs to ensure technical accuracy prior to deployment handoffs.

• Knowledge Management: Maintain and organize team knowledge bases within Azure DevOps Wiki and GitHub Pages/Docs.

• Continuous Refinement: Identify obsolete or misleading documentation and submit timely updates.

3. Qualifications & Technical Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, or related STEM fields.

• Container Fundamentals: Practical understanding of Docker commands (docker run, logs, inspect, exec), container lifecycles, and docker-compose configurations.

• Git & GitHub: Familiarity with branching, commits, Pull Requests, and markdown documentation formatting.

• Linux CLI: Comfortable with Linux/macOS shell navigation and basic bash/shell commands.

• Core Competency: High attention to detail with strong analytical and written communication skills.

4. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

• Prior exposure to Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Artifacts, or Wiki).

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or curl.

• Basic scripting ability in Python or Bash for test automation.

• Familiarity with container orchestration concepts (Kubernetes, Compose).

一、 職務簡介 (Role Overview)

我們正在尋找一位細心、對軟體品保與系統交付流程有熱忱的「軟體測試品保與技術文件實習生」。本職位將深入 WEDA ACC 專案的容器化交付流程，主要利用 GitHub 與 Azure DevOps (ADO) 工具鏈，負責容器映像檔之功能驗證、部署測試、異常回報，並擔任技術文件與 Release Notes 的嚴格把關者，確保交付件之穩定性與文件一致性。

二、 主要工作職責 (Key Responsibilities)

1. 容器品保與管線驗證 (Container & Pipeline QA)：

• 映像檔交付驗證： 驗證由 Azure DevOps Pipelines 及 GitHub Actions 所建置產出之容器映像檔 (Container Images)。

• 容器化功能測試： 於測試環境中執行 WEDA ACC 各模組之回歸測試、整合測試與基本健康檢查 (Health Check)。

• 缺陷追蹤與除錯： 檢視與重現異常狀況，擷取容器日誌 (Logs)，並於 Azure Boards 或 GitHub Issues 建立結構化之 Bug 追蹤單。

• 配置組態查核： 檢查環境變數 (Env Variables)、Port Mapping、Volume 掛載等各項容器配置之正確性。

2. 技術文件審查與發布管理 (Documentation Review & Release Process)：

• PR 與技術手冊審查： 針對 GitHub 上的 Pull Request (PR) 說明、Markdown 技術文檔進行查核，確保文檔與實際系統實作相符。

• 版本發布把關： 於版本發布前，嚴格稽核 Release Notes、部署指南 (Deployment Guides) 與 Changelog 之正確性。

• 知識庫維護： 協助整理與維護 Azure DevOps Wiki 或專案知識庫，落實文件版本控管與標準化範本。

• 文檔優化： 敏銳主動找出文檔中過期、模糊或錯誤之處，並提出相應更新修訂。

三、 條件要求 (Qualifications & Requirements)

• 學歷背景： 資訊工程、電機工程、資訊管理或相關理工科系在學學生 (學士生高年級或碩士生尤佳)。

• 容器基礎： 具備基本 Docker 概念與常用指令操作 (如 docker run, logs, inspect, exec 及 Docker Compose 觀念)。

• 版本控制： 具備 Git 版本控制觀念，熟悉 Branch 分支、Commit、Pull Request (PR) 流程及 Markdown 撰寫能力。

• 作業系統： 具備基礎 Linux 系統操作經驗，熟悉 Command Line 指令介面。

• 個人特質： 具備高度細心度、耐心與良好的書面溝通與表達能力，能清楚描述技術問題與測試步驟。

四、 加分條件 (Preferred Qualifications)

• 具備 Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Boards, Repos, Wiki) 實際操作經驗者佳。

• 具備 Postman 或 curl 等 API 測試工具使用經驗者。

• 具備基本 Python 或 Bash Shell 腳本撰寫能力，能編寫輔助測試腳本者。

• 具備英文技術文件撰寫與溝通能力者佳。
