Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.
In SAP technology at PwC, you will specialise in utilising and managing SAP software and solutions within an organisation. You will be responsible for tasks such as installation, configuration, administration, development, and support of SAP products and technologies.
The SAP Fiori Developer will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of SAP Fiori applications across client environments. This role contributes to our mission of delivering human-led, tech-powered services. The ideal candidate brings strong SAP UI/UX skills, leadership capabilities, and a track record in client-facing delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define and gather business requirements.
Application Development:
Lead the design and development of SAPUI5 applications based on Fiori design principles.
Architecture & Integration:
- Configure and fine-tune SAP Fiori Launchpad.
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP back-end systems (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, ECC).
Technical Leadership:
- Provide mentorship and quality oversight on development standards.
- Guide junior developers in technical design and code reviews.
Documentation & Standards:
- Produce and review technical specifications, guidelines, and user manuals.
- Ensure conformance with PwC and industry best practices.
Problem Solving:
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to performance and UI functionality.
- Continuously improve system stability and user satisfaction.
Delivery Management:
- Ensure timely and budget-aligned delivery of SAP Fiori solutions.
- Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- SAP Certification in Fiori or UI5 development (highly preferred).
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Scrum practices is advantageous.

- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 development.
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC environments.
- Deep understanding of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience leading project teams and collaborating in cross-functional setups.
- Strong problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and mentoring capabilities.
- Desirable Skill Sets
- Expertise in building intuitive, responsive interfaces.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and extension tools.
- Agile delivery exposure and experience in client-facing consulting roles.
