In technology strategy at PwC, you will specialise in developing and implementing strategic plans to leverage technology for business growth and innovation. You will analyse market trends, assess organisational needs, and provide guidance on technology investments and initiatives. Working in this area, you will collaborate with stakeholders to align technology strategies with overall business objectives to increase utilisation of technology resources, driving competitive advantage.

As a part of the Technology Strategy team, you are expected to be able to articulate business issues and trends within one or multiple industries as well as solve complex problems by structuring challenges and utilizing analytical tools. You will also determine client needs, identify use cases for a technology/solution, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and develop business cases. You will also identify and evaluate potential use cases for blockchain technology within a business context, assessing the feasibility and benefits of implementation.
Deep expertise in blockchain and distributed ledger technologies, including strategy design, architecture oversight, and delivery leadership across enterprise and Web3 ecosystems
Demonstrated experience advising C-suite leaders on blockchain-enabled business models, tokenization strategies, and ecosystem partnerships
Proven ability to lead large-scale blockchain programs — from strategy through proof-of-concept to production deployment — across industries such as financial services, supply chain, and digital assets
Strong grasp of smart contract architectures, interoperability standards, and integration with cloud, data, and security platforms
Knowledge of emerging blockchain trends (DeFi, tokenized assets, stablecoins, DAOs) and their regulatory, risk, and compliance implications
Experience building business cases and ROI models that quantify blockchain’s financial and operational value
Track record of developing high-performing teams through coaching, knowledge sharing, and recruiting blockchain talent to scale delivery capability
Executive presence with the ability to shape market perspectives, publish thought leadership, and influence client and alliance strategies
Senior Manager Responsibilities:
Leads market assessments and competitive analyses to identify emerging blockchain trends, investment opportunities, and client growth implications
Shapes blockchain strategies, operating models, and multi-year roadmaps that enable clients to capture business value and manage risk
Develops accelerators, reusable assets, and thought leadership that advance PwC’s blockchain capabilities and market positioning
Advises executives on blockchain and distributed ledger technologies and operating models including their strategic relevance and integration with broader digital ecosystems
Simplify requirements, document designs and client processes through technical architecture and conceptual flows, based on blockchain technologies
Translates complex blockchain concepts into practical business and technology strategies that drive measurable outcomes
Build executive-level client relationships to improve engagement delivery and enable business development opportunities
Lead delivery of blockchain projects including strategy assessments, proof of concept implementations, and production rollouts; manage program governance, financials, risk and quality, capacity planning, etc.
Identifies business development opportunities, shapes proposals, and contributes to go-to-market initiatives and alliance partnerships
Communicates with executive presence, delivering clear, concise narratives that influence decision-making and inspire confidence
Builds and scales the Blockchain team by recruiting top talent, fostering an apprenticeship culture, and upskilling existing team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and on-the-job development
Publishes thought leadership and represents PwC at industry forums to strengthen the firm’s blockchain brand
