As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations.

The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud-native integration solutions using AWS CDK/SDK with TypeScript.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for continuous deployment.
- Build and integrate payroll and billing workflows, managing data formats such as fixed width, CSV, XML, JSON, and EDI.
- Develop reliable connections with third-party vendors including Finch and multiple TPAs.
- Collaborate closely with QA and business teams to ensure requirements are met.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Document system design and flow for future maintenance and onboarding.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with AWS, specifically AWS CDK and SDK.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern backend development frameworks via API’s (Like REST,SOAP) along with different authorization model (like SSO, Azure, OAuth).
- Expertise in various data formats and file transformations (Fixed width file, CSV, XML, JSON, EDI).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience specifically with GitHub Actions (or similar CI/CD tooling).
- Experience with event-driven architecture (e.g., queues, pub/sub) for integration workflows.
- Knowledge of configuring and debugging API’s via postman
- Hands-on experience integrating third-party payroll vendors and TPAs.
- Familiarity with observability practices (structured logging, metrics, alerting) for production integrations.
