Those in managed service management and strategy at PwC will focus on transitioning and running services, along with managing delivery teams, programmes, commercials, performance and delivery risk. Your work will involve the process of continuous improvement and optimising of the managed services process, tools and services.

As a member of our Data, Analytics & Insights Managed Service team, we are looking for candidates who thrive working in a high-paced work environment capable of working on a mix of critical Application Evolution Service offerings and engagement including help desk support, enhancement and optimization work, as well as strategic roadmap and advisory level work. It will also be key to lend experience and effort in helping win and support customer engagements from not only a technical perspective, but also a relationship perspective.

- As a Manager within the Data Analytics & Insights Managed Service team, you will lead a team of BI engineers and analysts, driving the successful migration of analytics dashboards and reports from Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Spotfire to Power BI. You will manage end-to-end delivery, mentor team members, engage with stakeholders, and provide strategic insights to meet business requirements. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and deep expertise in BI tools, data modeling, and reporting.
- You will be responsible for both hands-on technical delivery and managing project progress, quality, and risk Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths, and address development areas.
- Lead and manage end-to-end migration projects of dashboards from OAC and Spotfire to Power BI, ensuring timelines, quality, and business objectives are met.
- Mentor and manage a team of Senior Associates and Junior resources, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Drive collaboration with business stakeholders, data architects, and technical teams for requirements gathering, solution design, and delivery.
- Review and approve all technical deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
- Oversee troubleshooting, issue resolution, and support post-migration to ensure system stability and user satisfaction.
- Define and enforce best practices around Power BI report development, governance, data security, and report lifecycle management.
- Lead risk identification, mitigation planning, and escalation management within migration projects.
- Manage project status reporting, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and alignment.
- Champion continuous improvements in BI processes and tools, driving automation and innovation where applicable.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and promote knowledge sharing and cross-functional cooperation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance, and ethical standards.
- Support COE activities by driving cross-competency initiatives within the analytics practice. Work in a team environment that includes client interactions, workstream management, and cross-team collaboration.

BI Manager:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in BI development and migration projects with at least 3-4 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Hands-on expertise in migrating dashboards from Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Spotfire to Power BI.
- Experience in ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and related tools like SSIS, Alteryx, or DataStage.
- Proven capability in team management, mentoring, and multi-stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor BI teams, providing technical guidance and fostering professional development
- Should be subject matter expertise in Power BI, OAC, Spotfire, SQL, and related BI technologies
- Should have expertise in Power BI governance and architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Power BI Premium capacities and fabric.
- Understanding of business intelligence trends and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to assess existing BI environments and recommend enhancements for scalability, performance, and usability.

- Review and improve complex DAX formulas, measures, security implementations, data refresh mechanisms, and advanced visualizations
- Lead the assessment of existing BI reports, performing gap analysis to replicate or improve reporting capabilities in Power BI.
- Experience with data platforms like Databricks, Teradata, and scripting languages such as Python, Pyspark.
- Ensure high standards in SQL query performance, debugging, and data validation
- Oversee the delivery of managed data and analytics programs, ensuring SLA adherence and operational excellence.
- Excellent project management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with managed services delivery models and incident/change/problem management. Effectively communicate with project team members and sponsors throughout the project lifecycle (status updates, gaps/risks, roadblocks, testing outcomes)
Nice to have:
- Power BI and/or other BI tool certifications.
- Certification or hands-on experience with Databricks or similar cloud data platforms.
- Experience with data ingestion tools like Teradata, DataStage, SSIS, or Alteryx.
- Exposure to ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
