Job Description

Streaming is shifting fast, and at Stan, we’re shaping where it goes next. As our Business Development & Partnership Manager, you won't just be maintaining the status quo - you’ll be a core driver executing our aggressive growth strategy across both our consumer business and key expansion frontiers.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You’ll take bold commercial concepts, grab the steering wheel, and execute them across major B2B platform partners (think smart TV ecosystems), and iconic consumer brand partners. A proactive, self-starting attitude will thrive in this position, as the Business Development team is at the forefront of advancing Stan’s reach and shaping the future of Australian entertainment.

Purpose of this role:

• Drive High-Value Partnerships: Reporting into the Head of Business Development, you’ll take ownership of our major platform and brand relationships from concept to execution. You’ll unlock new growth opportunities, boost subscriber acquisition and keep existing users hooked.
• Deliver Commercial Growth: Spearhead B2B and B2C initiatives that directly impact top-line revenue, actively identifying untapped growth pockets across traditional and strategic entertainment environments.
• Bridge Strategy, Product, and Tech: Partner closely with our Product, Tech, Marketing, and Finance teams - as well as the broader Nine Entertainment network - to ensure complex GTM roadmaps and commercial product enhancements are delivered seamlessly.
• Bring Multi-Channel Campaigns to Life: Run end-to-end partner marketing initiatives with a precision for detail and execution.
• Track & Optimise Performance: Measure the commercial impact of all partnership & growth initiatives, responsible for reporting to executive stakeholders and using that same data to refine our next big strategic move

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ Years in the Game: A proven track record in Business Development, Go-To-Market (GTM) execution, Commercial Partnerships, Strategic Partnerships or Commercial Growth roles.
• Execution Powerhouse: You know how to take complex deals or expansion strategies - whether scaling a consumer platform and rally internal and external stakeholders to get them over the line.
• Commercial Drive: You love building win-win commercial frameworks that drive measurable bottom-line value.
• Cross-Functional Mastery: You speak fluent "Commercial," "Product," and "Marketing," comfortably navigating everything from smart TV tech integrations to consumer lead partnership initiatives.
• Agile & Resilient: You handle shifting priorities with ease and bring a proactive, solution-oriented mindset when navigating commercial ecosystems.
