The Career Systems & Technology Coordinator serves as the department’s primary operational lead and subject matter expert for university career technology platforms, software management systems, and engagement tools. This position administers employer- and student-facing platform operations, manages system access and recruiting activities, maintains data integrity, and provides functional guidance to Career Services staff, university partners, and external employers navigating system workflows, technical capabilities, and operational challenges.
Serving as a key functional resource for the department and university, the coordinator helps distinguish when platform-related issues are process-driven, when they require policy interpretation, or when they require technical escalation and leadership decision-making. This role provides system troubleshooting support, develops user documentation and training resources, monitors platform adoption and engagement metrics, and recommends continuous product and workflow improvements to optimize the recruiting and user experience.
Working collaboratively with Employer Relations, Career Readiness, departmental leadership, academic units, and institutional stakeholders, the coordinator ensures consistent, scalable, and compliant use of all career technologies and products. The position balances technical system administration, end-user support, data-informed decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure departmental tools effectively support employer engagement, recruiting operations, and student career outcomes.
