- Demonstrated experience independently building market models, analyzing market-share data, evaluating transaction structures, and developing business cases that support senior-level strategic decisions.
- Strong knowledge of the agricultural value chain, ideally gained through direct experience working with growers, retail distributors, equipment OEMs, agronomic service providers, or related agricultural workflows.
- Advanced financial and analytical modeling capabilities, including financial valuation and market-sizing methodologies, with the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, executive-ready presentations.
- Strong strategic judgment and the ability to evaluate whether opportunities are best addressed through acquisition, internal development, strategic partnership, or other growth approaches.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to align commercial and operational priorities and effectively collaborate with sales leaders, functional teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong ability to work independently in a senior individual-contributor capacity while managing multiple strategic workstreams and maintaining a high level of analytical rigor.
- Experience with deal execution, M&A integration, or strategic alliance negotiation within AgTech, SaaS, IoT, or related technology sectors is highly valued.
- An MBA, Master’s in Finance or Agribusiness, or CFA designation is a plus, as is a strong professional network across agricultural technology, retail distribution, OEM, and agronomic service ecosystems.
- Familiarity with carbon markets, biological registration frameworks, and environmental sustainability incentives is advantageous.
