A Data Engineer designs, builds, and maintains scalable data infrastructure and pipelines that enable reliable data collection, storage, processing, and access across the organization. The role focuses on transforming raw data into high‑quality, usable datasets to support analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives.
Data Engineers work closely with Local and Regional data team including data analysts, data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure data is secure, accurate, and available for decision‑making.
Position Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real‑time data processing
Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows integrating data from multiple sources
Manage and optimize data lakes, and database sources
Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity through validation and monitoring
Collaborate with analytics and business teams to enable data‑driven use cases
Implement performance, security, and governance best practices across data platforms
Required Qualifications:
Strong skills in SQL, Azure SQL and Python for data transformation and processing
Have experience working on multiple data platforms, such as Oracle, Azure, SFDC, Mongo…
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure data factory, data integration, ADLS, Data storage, analytics)
Knowledge of distributed data processing, streaming and scalable architecture
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of data modeling, performance optimization, and cost efficiency
Familiarity with enterprise data governance and compliance concepts
