Remote only
You’ll be joining the Global People Operations organization to lead the Global Mobility & Immigration (GMI) function that owns strategy, operating model, and end-to-end delivery for mobility and immigration across the DoorDash brand ecosystem. GMI sits at the intersection of business enablement, employee experience, and compliance. The team partners closely with Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, People Operations, and our external vendor ecosystem to keep global mobility and immigration compliant, scalable, and ready for what’s next as the business and its footprint continue to grow. This work shows up immediately and concretely: it determines whether critical transfers and international hires land on time, whether the company stays ahead of shifting immigration policy across jurisdictions, and whether employees relocating across borders get a support experience that matches the significance of that transition.
This remote role can be located anywhere on the US East Coast.
We’re hiring a Director to lead our Global Mobility & Immigration (GMI) function. You’ll own GMI’s overall strategy, operating model, and performance end-to-end making sure GMI is both a strategic enabler of business growth and a disciplined steward of compliance risk, and a trusted partner to the stakeholders and leaders who depend on it. This is a rare opportunity to build one globally integrated GMI ecosystem across our brands — harmonizing the policies, roles, and ways of working that grew up independently across our brand ecosystem — while balancing compliance, scalability, and employee experience, and building the leadership bench and long-term team structure GMI needs to keep growing. You’ll lead and develop an existing, globally distributed team of mobility and immigration professionals, and serve as a strategic partner on the highest-priority cross-functional people operations initiatives. You will report to the Sr. Director, Head of Global People Operations and be part of the Global People Operations Leadership Team.
We expect this position to be filled by 11-09-2026
