At JLL, we are seeking an exceptional leader to step into the newly created role of Director, Head of Government Projects. This is a rare opportunity to take full strategic and operational ownership of a dedicated project delivery team serving two of our key government accounts.

This is more than a project delivery role; it is a business leadership position. We are looking for a commercially astute and technically strong individual who can enhance our team's capabilities, drive commercial performance, and function with a high degree of autonomy. If you are a leader who thrives on complexity, ownership, and the challenge of delivering excellence across a unique portfolio, including remote locations like the Indian Ocean Territory, this role is for you.

What this job involves:

• You will develop the strategy, own the budget, and drive the execution of all capital works and infrastructure projects. You will be accountable for the programme's success from planning through to completion.

• Act as the principal advisor to key government clients and a strategic partner to internal Account Directors, leading critical negotiations and providing expert counsel to resolve complex issues.

• Take full accountability for the programme's financials, from developing multi-year capital plans and managing budgets to driving profitability and growth.

• Directly lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing projects team. You will be responsible for building technical expertise and fostering a culture of accountability, risk management, and continuous improvement.

• Implement and oversee robust frameworks for project delivery, quality control, and risk management, ensuring all projects meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and excellence.
