About Bazaarvoice
At Bazaarvoice, we create smart shopping experiences. Through our expansive global network, product-passionate community & enterprise technology, we connect thousands of brands and retailers with billions of consumers. Our solutions enable brands to connect with consumers and collect valuable user-generated content, at an unprecedented scale. This content achieves global reach by leveraging our extensive and ever-expanding retail, social & search syndication network. And we make it easy for brands & retailers to gain valuable business insights from real-time consumer feedback with intuitive tools and dashboards. The result is smarter shopping: loyal customers, increased sales, and improved products.
The problem we are trying to solve : Brands and retailers struggle to make real connections with consumers. It's a challenge to deliver trustworthy and inspiring content in the moments that matter most during the discovery and purchase cycle. The result? Time and money spent on content that doesn't attract new consumers, convert them, or earn their long-term loyalty.
Our brand promise : closing the gap between brands and consumers.

Bazaarvoice is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Account Director to manage, nurture, and scale our portfolio of deep, multi-year LLM and AI platform relationships while actively driving partner-assisted business development to close high-impact new opportunities. Reporting to the SVP, Strategic Partnerships, this executive will serve as the primary relationship owner and account strategist for our existing portfolio of strategic partners, working closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and GTM to evolve initial proof points into enduring, high-value integrations.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the trusted lead for key LLM and AI partners (e.g., Google, OpenAI, hyperscalers, AEO/GEO companies, and emerging AI commerce players), consistently deepening executive relationships and identifying new avenues for mutual growth.
- Establish and lead structured account management cadences (QBRs, strategic joint roadmapping, executive steering committees) to ensure alignment, resolve operational friction, and secure durable partnership renewals.
- Integration Optimization: Drive cross-functional initiatives to scale existing pilots into permanent, core integrations, demonstrating continuously how Bazaarvoice data improves LLM-powered search, recommendation, and agentic shopping outcome
- Collaborate with partners on success metrics (e.g., conversion lift, engagement, relevance) to ensure ROI is consistently measured, reported, and leveraged to unlock broader usage tiers.
- Package account successes, performance gains, and case studies to advocate for broader rollouts across additional partner product lines and business units.
- Orchestrate Internally Across Strategy, Product, Engineering, and Legal
- Translate ongoing partner feedback and evolving technical needs into actionable insights for Product and Engineering; ensure existing APIs, data feeds, and integrations are continually optimized.
- Work closely with Legal to update client terms, navigate complex data privacy and retention discussions, and co-lead renegotiations or amendments as partnership scopes expand over time.
- Refine non-quota commercial models (tiered access, usage expansion, co-marketing, joint GTM value) to capture increasing economic value as accounts mature.
- Partner with Revenue, Finance, and Strategy to track the expanding baseline value of LLM partnerships and reflect account health in corporate performance.
- Strategic Representation: Represent Bazaarvoice and your assigned portfolio with senior partner executives and key client stakeholders, advocating for the long-term value of Bazaarvoice's authenticated UGC network in AI commerce.
What You'll Bring:
- 8+ years in strategic partnerships, platform partnerships, or ecosystem leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on data, platforms, and/or adtech/eCommerce.
- Demonstrated success building and nurturing senior-level relationships with large technology platforms (e.g., hyperscalers, major ad platforms, LLM providers), including aligning on joint strategy and executing multi-phase roadmaps.
- Proven experience turning emerging technology shifts (e.g., AI, privacy changes) into concrete partner offerings and measurable client value.. Commercial and product-oriented thinking
- Track record structuring complex data or platform partnerships where value is created through integration, usage, and proof of performance, not just contract size.
- Experience partnering closely with product and engineering teams to inform roadmaps and translate partnership opportunities into scalable, real-world products and integrations.. Governance, policy, and risk navigation
- Comfort operating at the intersection of legal, privacy, and commercial outcomes—shaping pragmatic, scalable positions on data rights, training usage, and acceptable use, while enabling innovation.
- Experience in environments where authenticity, trust, and sustainability are central to the value proposition is a plus.
- Relationship-first operator who derives energy from building long-term, trust-based partnerships while still moving quickly to tangible proof points.
- Strategic, systems-level thinker who can connect macro industry shifts in AI and commerce to specific partnership structures and experiments.
- Highly collaborative, low-ego leader who is comfortable influencing without direct authority across Strategy, Product, Engineering, Legal, and GTM.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and first-of-kind work; you default to test-and-learn, not endless debate. .
