The successful candidate will play a central role in reducing reactive work, strengthening asset care strategies, improving spare parts readiness, and building a data-driven maintenance organization that supports uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Validation, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Automation, and EHS to drive continuous improvement and ensure maintenance practices meet business, compliance, and patient supply needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the site maintenance function supporting cell therapy manufacturing, laboratories, critical utilities, and facility systems.
Develop and implement a structured maintenance planning and scheduling process, including work identification, prioritization, backlog management, weekly scheduling, and schedule compliance review.
Establish and sustain effective CMMS-based work management processes for preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance.
Improve RAM performance by analyzing equipment history, downtime trends, failure modes, and maintenance efficiency, then translating findings into practical reliability improvements.
Optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve uptime, reduce recurring failures, and increase planned work execution.
Lead MRO storeroom improvement efforts, including spare parts governance, critical spares identification, inventory accuracy, min/max optimization, and service level improvement.
Define and oversee maintenance KPIs such as PM completion, schedule compliance, planned versus unplanned work, backlog age, MTBF, MTTR, equipment uptime, and storeroom performance.
Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate equipment issues, support root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure compliance with GMP/GxP requirements, site procedures, documentation standards, change control, deviation management, and audit readiness expectations.
Handle maintenance resources, including internal team members, contractors, and service providers, to deliver safe and efficient maintenance execution.
