This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Founding Technical Account Executive based in the United States.
This is a founding sales role for a technically minded professional who can bridge complex infrastructure concepts with compelling commercial outcomes.
You will identify and win organizations that depend on real-time data and need fast, secure, deterministic distribution at scale.
The role combines technical discovery, enterprise selling, relationship building, and hands-on business development.
You will engage directly with technical leaders, data owners, and business decision-makers across multiple industries.
With no established sales playbook, you will create the motion from the ground up and help define how the market is approached.
The position involves extensive travel, in-person customer engagement, and ownership of opportunities from initial discovery through pilot and close.
As the business develops, you will also have the opportunity to help build and lead the sales organization around the successful motion.
Identify and pursue organizations that generate or control real-time data requiring immediate distribution to multiple independent consumers.
Build relationships with data owners and decision-makers across sectors such as financial markets, sports betting, esports, industrial systems, transportation, utilities, public health, and disaster detection.
Replace traditional cloud WebSocket and CDN-based distribution approaches by articulating the benefits of deterministic delivery, synchronized arrival, reduced bandwidth costs, and end-to-end security.
Demonstrate how organizations can transform data distribution from a cost center into a potential revenue stream by making feeds available to paying subscribers.
Conduct technical and commercial discovery with stakeholders, translate complex infrastructure challenges into business value, and manage opportunities from first meeting through signed pilots and commercial agreements.
Travel extensively, with approximately 80%+ travel expected, to develop relationships and conduct customer meetings in person.
Bring customer insights, industry requirements, and market feedback to product and engineering teams to help shape future capabilities.
Create and refine the sales strategy, processes, messaging, and playbook from the ground up.
Manage an individual business-development and expense budget while operating with a high degree of autonomy.
As the sales motion matures, contribute to hiring, developing, and leading the team that will scale the business.
Demonstrated success selling technical infrastructure, including cloud platforms, networking, data platforms, market data, content delivery, or streaming technologies.
Experience as a solutions architect, sales engineer, technical account executive, or similarly technical commercial professional is highly relevant.
Strong understanding of real-time data distribution technologies such as WebSockets, publish/subscribe systems, CDNs, and message buses, with the ability to explain technical limitations and scalability challenges to both technical and non-technical audiences.
An established professional network among data owners or decision-makers in one or more relevant industries, including financial markets, sports betting, esports, industrial automation, transportation, utilities, public health, or disaster detection.
Strong interpersonal awareness and the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to distinguish between technical objections, commercial concerns, organizational dynamics, and political considerations during complex sales processes.
Proven ability to operate independently in an entrepreneurial environment without a predefined playbook.
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 80% or more of the time.
Strong commercial drive and appetite for building a new book of business around an emerging technology.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, discovery, and relationship-management skills.
A practical, action-oriented approach to learning what works, adapting quickly, and turning customer feedback into business and product opportunities.
Fully remote position based in the United States.
High-autonomy founding role with significant influence over the sales strategy and go-to-market motion.
Opportunity to work at the intersection of networking, real-time data infrastructure, and distributed systems.
Direct exposure to technical and commercial leaders across multiple data-intensive industries.
Extensive opportunity to shape product direction through direct customer and market feedback.
Opportunity to help build and eventually lead the sales organization as the commercial motion scales.
Fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with significant room for ownership and impact.
Opportunity to work on infrastructure designed for high-performance data distribution where latency, synchronization, and reliability are critical.
