In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
We are seeking an Experienced UI Manager with strong leadership skills and hands-on development expertise to lead our user interface design and development efforts. The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with practical execution, ensuring that our products deliver world-class user experience. This role requires deep knowledge of UI development, user-centered design principles, and proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UI designers and developers, providing guidance on best practices and career development. 
• Define and drive the overall UI strategy, aligning design and development goals with product vision and business objectives. 
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, and engineering teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and engaging user interfaces. 
• Oversee all stages of the UI design and development process—from concept through execution to delivery. 
• Establish and enforce design systems, UI standards, and coding best practices across projects. 
• Review and provide feedback on team deliverables, ensuring quality and consistency. 
• Balance hands-on contributions in front-end development with managerial responsibilities. 
• Advocate for the user by incorporating research findings, usability testing, and feedback into design decisions. 
• Present and defend design and development decisions to executives and stakeholders. 

Required Skills 

• 6+ years of professional experience in UI design and development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role. 
• Proven hands-on expertise with front-end technologies: React, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript. 
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI development and design projects. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage, mentor, and inspire UI/UX teams. 
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar). 
• Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG standards), and adaptive design principles. 
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading teams in iterative development cycles. 
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills. 

Preferred Skills 

• Experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries. 
• Familiarity with motion design and prototyping tools (Principle, InVision Studio, Framer, etc.). 
• Background in conducting user research and usability testing. 
• Ability to balance business needs, technical constraints, and user experience considerations. 
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence cross-functional teams. 
• Knowledge of Generative AI concepts
