HEAD OF SALES (German-speaking) Berlin, Germany · Full-time · On-site
ABOUT US
At The Global Talent Co., we connect talented professionals with leading companies across Europe — offering stable employment, competitive packages, and access to a global community of 25,000+ professionals.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Since 2014, this Berlin-based B2B company has been quietly building something remarkable: Europe's leading platform for custom-made premium signage, trusted by global household names across retail, automotive, luxury, hospitality, and tech.
What sets them apart isn't just the client list — it's the ambition. They've taken an industry that has historically been fragmented and craft-based, and systematised it through smart processes, technology, and now AI. The result is a proven, profitable business with real revenue and a clear roadmap to European market leadership — with offices in Berlin, Wrocław, and Helsingborg.
They're now at an inflection point. The product is established. The client base is loyal. The next phase is scaling the commercial engine — and this hire will lead it.
THE ROLE
As Head of Sales, you'll take ownership of the full commercial function: inbound and outbound sales, aftersales, CRM, and the customer journey from first contact through to retention of enterprise accounts. You'll manage and grow a team of sales consultants, work directly with the founders on strategy, and have genuine influence over the direction of the business.
This is a builder role. The foundations are in place — your job is to bring structure, discipline, and ambition to take it to the next level.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and develop the sales team across inbound, outbound, and aftersales — setting clear targets and building the structure to hit them
Own the full customer journey: from first touch to conversion to long-term retention of major brand clients
Drive customer satisfaction, strong reviews, and repeat business with enterprise accounts
Oversee CRM systems and lead the implementation of AI-driven workflows and sales automations
Develop deep market and customer insight to inform product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions
Work closely with the founders on commercial strategy and represent the sales function at leadership level
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in a B2B environment with both transactional and enterprise deal flows
A genuine player-manager — you can coach your team and still close a deal yourself when it matters
Proven track record of building structured, metrics-driven sales teams — not just assembling talent and hoping for results
Strong command of CRM systems, pipeline management, and data-driven decision making
Familiarity with digital marketing channels and how they feed a B2B sales funnel
Curiosity about AI tools and genuine willingness to implement automations and agent-based workflows
Native-level German is essential
Professional English
WHAT'S ON OFFER
Base salary up to €100,000 depending on experience
Direct access to the founders — a genuine seat at the leadership table, not a reporting line into a corporate structure
The chance to build a commercial function from a strong base, at a company that has been profitable and growing since 2014
A young, international, mission-driven team with a flat hierarchy and a culture built on trust and ownership
On-site role in a great Berlin office
