Lavendo partners with startups and high‑growth companies to help them hire top‑tier sales, GTM, and technical talent. This role is with one of our clients; we’ll share full details about the company and interview process as we get to know you and confirm mutual fit.
Our client helps some of the world’s largest brands control how they collect, share, and use data. Its enterprise platform connects privacy governance, consent management, and AI governance, giving organizations the controls they need to protect customer information and adopt AI responsibly.
Customers include Hilton, Sephora, AT&T, Allianz, and CVS, with many relationships spanning more than five years. Recognized as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant, our client pairs product innovation with established enterprise adoption.
The company is profitable and founder-led. Its Founder/CEO also serves as CTO: he built the original technology and personally secured major enterprise customers in the company’s first few months. You will work directly with a founder who understands the product, the buyer, and what it takes to win complex accounts.
Give enterprises the ability to innovate with data and AI while respecting individual privacy and choice.
Our client turns that mission into practical controls: connecting customer permissions, privacy obligations, and AI governance to how data moves through the business.
Lead an existing enterprise sales team and help turn a strong customer and product foundation into the next stage of revenue growth.
As Head of Sales, you will manage approximately 2-3 AEs and 5-6 BDRs. You will own team execution, coach sellers, strengthen pipeline generation, and personally contribute to closing business.
This role suits a leader who wants broader responsibility without losing touch with customers. You will work directly with the Founder/CEO on sales strategy and execution, with meaningful influence over hiring, team development, and how the business goes to market.
Lead the enterprise sales team against clear revenue, pipeline, and activity goals.
Coach AEs and BDRs through account planning, prospecting, discovery, deal reviews, and negotiations.
Generate and close your own opportunities while helping the team win strategic accounts.
Build a consistent outbound motion with clear targeting, relevant messaging, and disciplined follow-through.
Develop relationships with CISOs, CIOs, Chief Privacy Officers, compliance leaders, and other enterprise decision-makers.
Help buyers connect privacy, consent, and AI governance requirements to a clear business case.
Improve qualification, sales processes, CRM discipline, and forecast accuracy.
Partner with the Founder/CEO, product, and marketing teams on positioning, competitive strategy, and customer feedback.
Hire and onboard additional sellers as the organization grows.
10+ years of B2B sales experience, including a strong enterprise SaaS track record.
Experience leading AEs and BDRs while remaining involved in prospecting and closing.
Consistent achievement against individual and team revenue targets.
Success selling to senior security, privacy, IT, or compliance buyers at private-sector enterprises.
Experience navigating complex buying groups, technical evaluations, negotiations, and procurement.
Strong outbound skills and the ability to coach others to build their own pipeline.
Experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, identity, GRC, or adjacent enterprise software is preferred.
A disciplined approach to qualification, forecasting, and performance management.
A bachelor’s degree or higher.
Ability to work from the office three days per week. Candidates willing to relocate are welcome.
Lead from the front. You stay close to customers and help your team move deals forward.
Own the outcome. You identify problems early, make decisions, and follow through.
Combine ambition with discipline. You pursue meaningful growth through consistent execution.
Be direct and coachable. You welcome feedback, bring informed opinions, and work well with an involved founder.
Develop people. You set clear expectations, give useful feedback, and hold yourself to the same standard.
Exercise sound judgment. You know when to act independently and when to involve others.
Build for the long term. You care about customer trust, team quality, and sustainable results.
Competitive pay: $150K-200K base salary plus commissions (OTE 350-400K).
Benefits: 100% covered medical, vision, and dental for employees (50% for dependents); 401(k) match; learning & development stipend; relocation assistance is available.
A credible platform to sell: established enterprise customers and recognition as a Leader in the 2026 Magic Quadrant.
An expanding opportunity: help enterprises address privacy, consent, and AI governance through one connected platform.
Real leadership scope: take responsibility for an existing team, contribute directly to revenue, and shape the next phase of sales execution.
Direct founder access: work with a technically hands-on CEO who built the product and won early enterprise accounts.
A profitable business: build on long-standing customer relationships and an established operating foundation.
Recognition: President’s Club awards and recognition for strong performance.
