Help identify and define the technical baseline documentation for Defence platforms, including aircraft and land-based systems
Contribute to building a searchable utility that enables faster access to certification and type data from multiple sources
Assist with work directly benefiting the C‑27J program, supporting future upgrades, in‑service hazard assessments, and certification planning
Gain exposure to airworthiness, certification, and Defence regulatory environments
This 12 week internship is designed to help you learn, grow, and gain confidence in a real Defence engineering environment. This role is based at our Fortitude Valley office in Brisbane, Queensland.
Eligibility requirements:
We’re looking for motivated engineering students who are curious, detail‑oriented, and interested in Defence aviation and certification. You’ll ideally bring:
Current study in an Engineering discipline
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
An interest in certification, airworthiness, safety, or regulatory engineering
Some understanding of coding, preferably Python
Confidence working with technical documentation and data from multiple sources
Ability to work full-time over the allocated internship period
If you’re ready to apply your engineering studies in a real Defence environment and learn from some of the best in the industry, we’d love to hear from you.
