Licensed Mental Health Therapist — Nationwide Interest Pool
Remote · Open to All U.S. States
We have plans of expanding nationwide. If we're not in your state yet, we want to know you.
Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults — all online, covered by most insurance. We're clinician-led and minority-owned, and we're growing fast. We currently operate in Illinois, Maryland, Virginia, Arizona, and Georgia — and we're actively building toward a nationwide footprint.
If you're a licensed therapist who believes in accessible, culturally responsive care for kids and families, we want to hear from you now — before we get to your state.
How this works
This isn't a traditional job posting. It's an invitation to get on our radar early. Once you apply, you'll be added to our expansion talent pool. When we launch in your state, you'll be among the first people we reach out to — no starting from scratch, no waiting on a job board.
What working at Backpack looks like
Our therapists provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth — fully remote, flexible scheduling, with a real interdisciplinary team behind them. When we expand into your state, here's what you can expect:
What we're looking for
Who we are
We've served 12,000+ kids and families since 2020. 78% of families report their child is doing better after three months of care. We started because finding quality, affordable mental health care for kids was too hard — and we're building something to change that, one state at a time.
When clinicians thrive, kids thrive. That's not a tagline. It's how we build.
Apply today and we'll be in touch when we're in your state.
