This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a LPN, RX Clinical Program Professional based in the United States.
As an LPN, RX Clinical Program Professional, you’ll support medication-focused clinical programs designed to improve patient health outcomes and medication adherence. You’ll help patients manage complex medication regimens through education, outreach, medication reviews, and prescription optimization. The role combines clinical knowledge with proactive patient engagement, including outbound calls and targeted health-awareness campaigns. You’ll use electronic health record systems to document interactions accurately and support efficient clinical workflows. The position offers the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve patient-care challenges. This is a fully remote, full-time role operating Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Eastern Time. Occasional travel for training or meetings may be required.
Support clinical programs focused on improving medication adherence, prescription optimization, and overall health outcomes.
Oversee medication therapy activities and contribute to comprehensive medication reviews, particularly for patients taking multiple medications.
Identify opportunities to optimize prescription drug use and support appropriate medication strategies.
Conduct outbound calls to patients to confirm medication use, provide education, and offer counseling as appropriate.
Promote patient health awareness through prescription education initiatives and targeted quarterly outreach campaigns.
Use electronic health record systems to accurately document patient interactions, clinical information, and program activities.
Apply established professional standards, regulations, procedures, and operating guidelines when managing assigned work.
Assess patient-related and workflow challenges, applying sound judgment to determine appropriate next steps.
Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Manage individual work priorities and approach while following established direction and procedures.
Protect patient health information and maintain confidentiality in accordance with applicable privacy and HIPAA requirements.
Participate in training, meetings, and other activities required to support effective delivery of the clinical program.
Active, unrestricted LPN license in the United States.
At least 1 year of professional experience working as an LPN.
Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation, data management, and workflow optimization.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems and encourage collaborative problem-solving across teams.
Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and contribute effectively to broader team objectives.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when educating and counseling patients by telephone.
Ability to apply professional standards, healthcare regulations, established procedures, and clinical guidelines appropriately.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when documenting medication-related information and patient interactions.
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
Experience in mail-order pharmacy is preferred.
At least 1 year of LPN experience in a specialty pharmacy setting is preferred.
An LPN Compact license is advantageous.
Availability to work Monday through Friday with assigned shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM ET.
Ability to maintain a dedicated, interruption-free workspace suitable for protecting confidential patient health information.
Reliable home internet connection with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. Wireless, wired cable, or DSL connections are suggested; alternative connections may require approval.
Annual base salary of approximately $48,900–$66,200, depending on geographic location, skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors.
Fully remote work arrangement within the United States.
Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
